And all across campus there can be heard an audible sigh of relief… There’s something truly challenging about academic life between the beginning of spring semester and Easter break. What makes the months of February and March so difficult is hard to pinpoint. But finally, a week-long reprieve has come! Your students have pushed through papers, mid-terms and presentations to get to this point, and all across campus there can be heard an audible sigh of relief! I’m so excited for those of you who will be able to spend the next ten days with your student. Enjoy every minute they give you! And I’m excited for you parents whose students are heading off to Honduras and Utah to do ministry during their break. What a blessing to see our young people reach out to the poor, both physically and spiritually. Please pray together with us that our students would reflect Christ through their words and actions, and that they would walk in truth, purity and grace with the team and those with whom they minister. For those of you whose students are staying on campus, be encouraged that the Eagle’s Nest will be open Monday through Friday next week for meals, and that two grocery stores and several fast-food restaurants are within walking distance from campus. There are many students who stick around campus for the week, so your student won’t be alone. Our offices will be open during Easter Break. Feel free to contact us with questions or place an order for a Hugs gift package to be delivered to your student who’s on campus. Happy Easter! May you experience the joy of serving a risen Savior. He is Risen! He is Risen, indeed! Colleen and Mallory Office of Parent Relations |
