  1. Please share about your experience with Biola

    Alyce is an alumnus (’81) and her BIOLA experience played an integral role in shaping her life. So we definitely considered BIOLA as one of the top choices for our children.

  2. Share about how Biola has helped your son and daughter

    The BIOLA community is a rich, nurturing environment which integrates spiritual growth and development with intellectual and academic learning.  The opportunities for growth are unlimited.

  3. How did you help your son and daughter through the decision process to choose Biola?

    We encouraged both of them to attend the University Day events for prospective students while they were still in high school. They stayed overnight in the dorms and attended classes. This experience helped them see what living at BIOLA would be like and played a significant role in their final decision.

  4. How do you feel the Christ-centered community at Biola is helping your children develop spiritually?

    It’s a work in progress. They are gaining a strong foundation in their Bible courses and are being challenged to apply the truth of Scripture to their own lives. The chapel and conference speakers have influenced them greatly. Our son is actively involved in a missions ministry, and, hopefully, our daughter will find similar ways to serve.

  5. Please share your feelings on the value of a Biola education.

    The Christian education our children are receiving at BIOLA is crucial preparation for the next phase of their lives as adults. Christianity is taking a beating in our society and its humanistic higher educational system. It’s our desire that our children become fully rooted in their faith -- able to engage the culture and stand firm for God. We have noticed in the past year, that at BIOLA, our son is becoming the man God wants him to be. What a nurturing Christian environment this is; there's nothing like it and the impact it will have on his life, for the rest of his life. We sent our children to BIOLA to get grounded in their faith, and that is exactly what is taking place. We are grateful to God and the BIOLA community for the growth we see. We can't wait to see what's next!
