Always be ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence...
I'm sure we don't need to tell you how much our culture is confused about God. Most people don't believe He's relevant to their lives and many even see religion as a force for evil rather than good. It's no wonder they see Christianity as not worth even examining.
That hasn't changed our mandate to be ambassadors for Christ, of course. We are called to always be ready to give a defense for the hope we have, sharing our faith with gentleness and respect (1 Peter 3:15).
But Christians themselves are struggling to articulate their worldview. Our generation is one of the least biblically literate in history.
We want Christians to know that their faith is reasonable; that loving God means loving Him with all our heart, soul and mind.
