Academic Year/Contract Year
For the purposes of Housing the 2013-2014 Academic Year, which is also the Contract Year, begins on Fall Opening Day, Friday, August 23, 2013 and runs through the day of Spring Commencement, Friday, May 23, 2014, excluding Christmas Break (Saturday, December 21, 2013 through Tuesday, December 31, 2013). Summer Housing (May 24 – August 21, 2014) is contracted separately.
For the purposes of Food Service, the Contract Year includes the Fall (August 23 – December 20, 2013) and Spring (January 21 – May 23, 2014) semesters. Interterm (January 2-20, 2014) and Summer (May 24 – August 21, 2014) are contracted separately.
