Academic Year/Contract Year
For the purposes of Housing the 2012-2013 Academic Year, which is also the Contract Year, begins on Fall Opening Day, Friday, August 24, 2012 and runs through the day of Spring Commencement, Saturday, May 25, 2013, excluding Christmas Break (Saturday, December 22, 2012 through Monday, December 31, 2012). Summer Housing (May 26 – August 22, 2013) is contracted separately.
For the purposes of Food Service, the Contract Year includes the Fall (August 24 – December 22, 2012) and Spring (January 22 – May 26, 2013) semesters. Interterm (January 2-21, 2013) and Summer (May 26 – August 22, 2013) are contracted separately.
