Academic Year/Contract Year
For the purposes of Housing the 2011-2012 Academic Year, which is also the Contract Year, begins on Fall Opening Day, Friday, August 19, 2011 and runs through the day of Spring Commencement, Saturday, May 26, 2012, excluding Christmas Break (Saturday, December 17, 2011 through Saturday, December 31, 2011). Summer Housing (May 27 – August 16, 2012) is contracted separately.
For the purposes of Food Service, the Contract Year includes the Fall (August 19 – December 16, 2011) and Spring (January 24 – May 25, 2012) semesters. Interterm (January 2 – 23, 2012) and Summer (May 27 – August 16, 2012) are contracted separately.
