Academic Year/Contract Year
For the purposes of Housing the 2010/2011 Academic Year, which is also the Contract Year, begins on Fall Opening Day, Friday, August 20, 2010 and runs through the day of Spring Commencement, Saturday, May 28, 2011, excluding Christmas Break (Saturday, December 18, 2010 through Sunday, January 2, 2011).
For the purposes of Food Service, the Contract Year includes the Fall (August 20 – December 17, 2010) and Spring (January 25 – May 27, 2011) semesters. Interterm (January 2 – 24, 2011) and Summer (May 29 – August 18, 2011) are contracted separately.
