Welcome to BEST (BIOLA Eagle Swim Team). The BIOLA Age Group Swim Team is focused on developing swimmers in a fun and positive environment while still providing higher level opportunities for the intense competitor.
I am Coach Steve Eberwein. I have overall responsibility for BEST. The other age group levels is led by Artemis Sotiropolos and supported by Coach Juliane Dempski . Our program develops young swimmers in competitive swimming technique in a fun and safe environment.
I invite you to come and visit our practices and talk to the parents and swimmers of the program. If you have any other questions feel free to talk to the coaches. Thank you and enjoy.
Age Group Swim Team
This is sanctioned under USA swimming intended for ages 5-18. Our team competes against other USA swimming teams.

| 5 | Designed for children who want to be on a swim team but do not posses the stamina or technical ability for swimming. The child must be comfortable with the deep end. | Monday and Wednesday or Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30–6:30 p.m. | $20/month |
| 6 | Designed for children who want to be on a swim team but do not possess strong swimming skills. The Child must be comfortable with the deep end. | Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 5:30–6:30 p.m. | $30/month |
| 7 | This is for the swimmer who is coming from lessons at level 4 or higher and has some basic knowledge of the four competitive strokes. | Monday – Friday from 6:30–8:30 p.m. | $40/month |
| 8 | This group is for those participants who are strong in the water and are able to do competitive starts and turns. | Monday – Friday from 6:30–8:30 p.m. | $50/month |
| 9 | This group is design for those participants to continue to build their intensity and focus on swimming. | Monday – Friday from 6–8:30 p.m. | $60/month |
USA Water Polo
The BIOLA Age Group Water Polo Team is a non-profit organization focused on developing water polo for ages 14 and under, by means of honest training and preparation. We work to have our competitors achieve performance beyond the boundary of their talents and physical gifts in a fun, positive and well-rounded environment. The Biola Eagle Water Polo Team (BEWP) is sanctioned under the national governing USA water polo association and competes against other USA water polo team affiliates.
Tuesdays, Thursday: 7:30-8:30 p.m.
Games: TBA
Cost: $20/month
Annual cost of $45 for USA water polo registration.
