North Residence Hall Construction
Beginning in May of 2014, a new residence hall will be constructed on the north end of campus in Parking Lot J, adjacent to Sigma. The building will be 4-story, community-style housing with 160 rooms and 346 beds. A courtyard will be created between Sigma and the new residence hall that will provide a beautiful outdoor environment for residents of both halls. The building will include many common lounges and a rooftop terrace that will overlook the creek and University Drive. A cafe on the first floor will provide a new dining option for students and employees across the campus. In keeping with Biola's continued commitment to sustainable design, the building will be certified LEED Silver with the U.S. Green Building Council. The building is scheduled to be completed by July 2015.
