"Centennial Rose" Bred for Biola's 100th

Over one year ago the Biola Bookstore sought a national floral breeder to produce a specialty rose in honor of Biola's centennial. The California-based breeder, Dr. Jim Sproul, began to work on developing a miniature rose for Biola’s centennial.

During that time, Sproul came to visit Biola’s campus with his high school-aged son who was considering attending Biola. Sproul was very drawn to Biola and chose to donate his breeder’s fee to Biola for the centennial rose.

After months of anticipation, the "Biola Centennial Rose" has arrived.

Registered with the American Rose Society, this miniature garden rose symbolizes Biola with itsblooming red and white colors. The rose will be a Biola trademark flower at future events and throughout campus.

Own your very own "Biola Centennial Rose". They are NOW available at the bookstore for only $7.50.
