Local Newspaper Has High Hopes for Baseball Team
The San Gabriel Valley Tribune predicts a promising season for the Biola baseball team, with an article printed titled, "Biola Should Soar Again."
Coaching the baseball team for the past 11 years, John Verhoeven is optimistic about the upcoming baseball season. According to the Tribune article, "Verhoeven believes the Eagles could be very good, even comparing this year's team to his 2005 squad that went 45-12, won the GSAC title with a 27-3 record and advanced to the NAIA World Series."
