How to Access Your Library Account

For Students, Staff, and Faculty

The library computer system allows you to view your library account and perform certain tasks. It is very important to set up your PIN as soon as possible, in order to increase the security for your account.

By logging in to your library account, you can

  • place a hold on an item (only if it is lost, missing, or checked out)
  • request books using LINK+
  • view the items you have checked out and see the due dates
  • renew items online if they are available for renewal
  • see any overdue fees or other fines accrued

Set up Your Pin and Access Your Account

  1. From the Library Catalog, click on Library Account.
  2. Type your first and last name in the first box, and then press the TAB key.
  3. Type your Biola ID number in the second box, and then press the TAB key. Important: Do not include the leading zeros.
  4. Click on Submit.
  5. Enter a new PIN (4-8 characters). Enter it again to confirm it.
  6. Click on Submit.

Need to Change Your Pin?

If you decide that you want to change your PIN at any time, just log in and then click on the box which is labeled "Modify your PIN."

Forgot Your Pin?

If you forget your PIN, you will need to come in person with your photo ID to the Library Circulation Desk. The staff cannot tell you what your PIN is or enter it for you. However, they can delete the field which contains your PIN, and then you should immediately assign yourself a new PIN by following the above instructions.

Set up Your Pin and Access Your Account

  1. From the Library Catalog, click on Library Account.
  2. Type your first and last name in the first box, and then press the TAB key.
  3. Type your 9-digit library card number in the second box. Important: Start with the 8 and leave off the last character. Then press the TAB key.

    For example, if your barcode says: PUO800001234R, then you would type: 800001234

  4. Click on Submit.
  5. Enter a new PIN (4-8 characters). Enter it again to confirm it.
  6. Click on Submit.
