IGSA is composed of all registered international graduate students at BIOLA, it serves as the official body representing all International Graduate students at BIOLA. The IGSA council is responsible for the GRAB program which accepts material donations and makes these items freely available for any International Student at Biola that may need them.
The council is also responsible for the Barnabas program where new students are paired with current graduate students according to the program they are in, interests, language background, country of origin, etc. Incoming students will be in e-mail contact with their "Barnabas" during the summer prior to arriving at Biola. Upon arrival, new students will be greeted at the airport by their "Barnabas." Then, during the first four weeks, the new students will be offered assistance, encouragement and hospitality to help them settle into life here at Biola.
