Community Life at Biola is action-packed and full of activities
to keep a home-sick international student occupied and help make a smooth transition
into Biola’s welcoming community. We understand it isn’t always easy. So, many
volunteers from the local community are available to support you, and help you
get connected during this adjustment period.
Crazy group activities teach all of us--
including the perplexed Sufen in the middle--how to trust
and grow as a community.

Of the many ways you can ensure success during your academic journey at Biola University, perhaps the most critical is to surround yourself with a community of friends. In Christ, we are all brothers and sisters, and we need one another more than you’ll ever comprehend.
There are many ways to get involved and if at first, you don’t succeed, try, try again!
