Crime Prevention

Community Contacts

One of the tactics used by criminals who trespass on campus is to attempt to blend into the Biola community by posing as students or campus employees. As part of our ongoing efforts to keep campus safe, officers will occasionally approach people on campus and ask for identification. Students, faculty, and staff should keep their Biola ID card on hand at all times and provide it to officers upon request.

The safety of our students is our top priority. Campus Safety Officers continually implement proactive crime prevention strategies. It is important for everyone on campus to remain vigilant and be aware of their surroundings. If you come across anyone in the process of committing a crime or acting suspiciously, please contact Campus Safety via the emergency line at 562-777-4000 with specific information. All calls are evaluated and the appropriate response is determined based on factual information.
