Homecoming Basketball

No Homecoming would be complete without the big game (or two), and women’s and men’s basketball games against Concordia were the premier contests of the weekend.

The Lady Eagles were successful in their bid against Concordia, beating them by a score of 83-66. The men’s team didn’t fare as well, going down in the second half at 54-47.

A special Homecoming Halftime was a highlight of the men’s game, with a routine by the Biola cheerleaders and a relay race which afforded the winner a package to attend a Clippers game. One person from each dorm, including the off-campus and commuter population, was chosen to participate in the relay, which involved dressing in a variety of athletic wear-everything from a basketball jersey to swimming flippers--running down the half-court and making a basket.
