Homecoming Weekend
Golden Eagles
Continuing a beloved Biola tradition, alumni who graduated in 1959 were honored as the newest class of Golden Eagles-50-year graduates. The group, which included a Golden Eagle from as far back as 1944, enjoyed a continental breakfast together before heading to chapel, where they were introduced to the student body. As is the case every year, their introduction was met with enthusiastic applause from the students, indicative of their appreciation for the sense of legacy that lives with the Golden Eagles.
Luncheon together followed chapel, and the newest Golden Eagles were each given a crystal paperweight to commemorate their induction. Adam Morris, vice president of advancement, was on hand to bring greetings, and guests were encouraged to share memories of their college days during a lively open-microphone program.
