The Challenger Tennis program has been a tremendously positive influence in my son Josh's life. Josh started in Coach Henry's Challenger program when he was about 10 years old, back in 1990. He began as a little boy who struggled to follow directions, and whose coordination made bouncing the ball with one hand and hitting it with a racket in the other an almost impossible feat! Coach Henry and each Biola student who has worked with Josh through the years have been such an encouragement to him! Going to tennis is one of THE highlights of his week! His self-esteem has blossomed as he has learned the skills of the game! His confidence has soared as he has been able to volley the ball back and forth! The practice on the Tennis Mate has allowed him to "whip" his brother's friends, much to his delight! He has learned teamwork and "hussle" when he plays doubles! Clearly, the Biola students who minister to the community through the Challenger program desire to share not only their love for the game, but their passion for Christ!
THANK YOU Coach Henry and all of the Biola students who invest in the lives of others and make a unique impact in the community through Tennis!
