Empowering students to be lifelong, healthy ministers of the gospel…it’s no small task--but that’s what Spiritual Life is all about. We’re in the business of developing fruitful ministers, not just successful ministries.

As we reinforce Biola’s mission, our focus is on helping students grow in the five character pillars of humility, integrity, commitment, self-discipline and grace. We long to see our students become fully yielded servants of Christ who believe God in all things and thus bring about personal and cultural transformation.

How are we accomplishing this awesome charge? As we provide the structure for small growth groups, evangelistic outreaches, mission trips, urban ministries and local church involvement, we place an extraordinary emphasis on students’ spiritual, leadership and character development.
