What Can I Do with a Major in Organizational Leadership?
The Organizational Leadership major is an innovative undergraduate degree program for working adults who desire an accredited Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree. It is an interdisciplinary degree that integrates business, behavioral science, communication, and biblical studies, with an emphasis on the development of skills in human relations and leadership. This is a preferred program for adults preparing for a wide range of management and leadership roles in profit and non-profit organizations.
With this major as a foundation, your career options are wide open, thus, it will be important to clarify your particular interests, skills, values and personality preferences. You will want to consider which types of work settings and industries are more appealing to you and which particular skills you prefer to use most of the time. It will be vitally important that you get practical experience in your areas of interest through internships or part-time jobs, as employers recruit many new college graduates as a result of these internship experiences.
