Intro

My Name is Kiki Avlakeotes. I am from Santa Rosa, CA. I am a Junior here at Biola, last year I transferred, so shout out to all you transfers! I am involved in a ministry called California School Project and I have a huge passion for students.

What do you love about Christian Education Ministries?

I absolutly love CE. I think what I love most about CE is that all the classes are practical and engaging. I enjoy doing my homework and i enjoy going to class because every day i feel refreshed and excited. CE professors are amazing! Get to know them!

What are you passionate about?

The Lord has laid a passion on my heart for student ministries, specifically Junior High and High School students. I am very passionate about developing leaders and speaking! I am so excited to see how the Lord pulls all those things together.

What advice do you have for our new Christian Education Ministries students?

New students, first of all WELCOME! Second of all, my advice would be to get to know your pr ofessors. Classes are so much more fun when there is a relationship established. One more thing, be happy for your assignments (sounds weird I know) but seriously, they are all so practical! CE is great.

What is the greatest lesson you have learned here at Biola?

My greatest lesson learned so far is that time managment is the key to success. :)

What is your favorite class so far?

My favorite class so far was Foundations of Interpersonal Relationships. Such a fun class.

What are your life goals?

I have always wanted to write a book and then travel around with the Revolve Tour (teenage version of Woman of Faith) and speak. Is that possible? Lord, we will see!

Where do you hang out on campus and off?

My favorite spot on campus only is possible at night. I like to sit in the top row of the baseball stands and look out over the field with the moon shining on it. I don't know why but it is the most calming thing. My favorite spot off campus is crusin Beach Blvd. Don't forget to pick up your Berry Cool before you go.

Who has been your greatest influence in your life?

My Mom and Dad have been my greatest influences. Both my parents are in vocational ministry and they have been a great example of what hard work looks like and the God given passion behind it. I love them.
