Torrey Europe is a three-week summer trip worth 4 units for participating students. It is led by selected tutors and visits a variety of European locations, most recently England, central Europe, Turkey and Greece. The assigned readings will include options in history, philosophy, art, biography, architecture, western society, and theology and are required to be completed before the trip is begun. Exact destination, cost, and the number of students will be announced in the fall semester preceding the trip.

The trip is designed to integrate the readings assigned specifically for the travels with the cultural and religious heritage of Europe. The hope is that through traveling in other countries, students will gain historical, archaeological, and cultural insights into the origin and development of Western civilization.
