3D IMAGES

The following pairs of SEM photos have been taken with the left image at a slightly different angle than the right image. They will be shown at different sizes for you on the next page. If you can get your eyes to focus on one pair of them such that your left eye sees the left image, and your right eye sees the right image, your brain will perceive a single image in 3D or true depth. Our eyes can only see in two dimensions, but your brain can put the information from your two eyes together so that you can perceive things in three dimensions; thus, 3D.
