Graduation Requirements
- Satisfactorily complete 39 semester units as outlined in the curriculum.
- Maintain a 3.0 average with no grade below a C in all courses to be credited toward graduation.
- Complete a minimum of 30 units at Biola University. All degree components must be completed as graded courses.
- Participate in the Christianity and Science colloquia, which includes attending at least 80% of the sessions (attendance is pro-rated for part-time students), and giving one oral presentation based on research undertaken in an advanced seminar.
- Submit a publication-quality paper based on research undertaken in an advanced seminar, which may be submitted to a journal and/or posted on the program's website.
- Students are placed on academic probation if their grade point average for any semester falls below 3.0 and will remain on probation as long as the single semester or cumulative grade point average remains below 3.0. Probation students are granted one semester in which to bring their academic work up to the required level (3.0) for continuance in the program. A student cannot graduate while on probation.
- Complete the entire program in no more than six years.
