Housing & meals

Modular students have the option of living on campus in student housing during the two-week residencies. Living on campus is not required, but is encouraged, as it helps establish bonds with fellow students and eliminates time spent commuting from an off-campus location during a very full two-week learning period. Costs for on-campus housing as of 2009 are as follows. Please note that these costs may increase slightly each year.

Shared bedroom: $280 per two-week period
Private bedroom: $580 per two-week period
One-bedroom apartment w/spouse: $600 per two-week period
Two-bedroom apartment w/family: $1,140 per two-week period

Modular students have the option to purchase a meal plan at Cafe Biola, the university dining facility. Meal plan rates for summer 2009 are below. Students may also choose to purchase their own food or eat at the Eagle's Nest or Talon, the two campus eateries. During the summer, Biola's coffee shop, Common Grounds, is open mornings and serves coffee and breakfast pastries. For more information on Biola's food services, please click here.
