Certificate Program

About the Certificate in Organizational Leadership

The certificate program utilizes audio lectures on CD taken from past Distinguished Speaker Series to allow non-MOL students to further their personal education. The certificate also allows potential students to take a "test-drive" of the MOL to gauge whether the content resonates with their career and educational goals. Audio CDs are grouped by "series", a set of 5 to 6 lectures on a specific topic.

How to Earn a Certificate

Choose any three series that suit you best. Order the CDs, and listen to them in your own timeframe. After completing the reading, write one short reflective paper per series, and submit each paper to the MOL office, where they will be graded by our professors. Once your work is finished and assessed, we will send your Certificate in Organizational Leadership to you. Papers will be graded and certificates awarded twice per year, each May and December.

How to Sign Up!

To sign up for the Certificate in Organizational Leadership, email the office to let us know you would like to pursue the certificate. Then visit the MOL Online store and browse through our available speakers and topics. Place your order and we will immediately ship your materials. After completing three series (with papers submitted to the MOL), you will have earned your certificate.

Potential MA Credit

The Certificate in Organizational Leadership can be converted into elective master's degree credit pending acceptance into the MOL program. The tuition difference will be made up upon registration for the full MOL degree.
