Tuition & Scholarships
Tuition
For the Fall of 2009 and Spring of 2010, tuition for undergraduate students taking courses at the 103 level and higher is $13,872 (12-18 units) per semester. Tuition for undergraduate and ELSP-only students taking courses at the 100, 101 and 102 levels is $522 per unit. Tuition for graduate students is $450 per unit.
A minimum enrollment of 14 units is required of all ELSP students in the 100 through 102 levels. There are no additional tuition charges for taking more units (up to 18 units) for undergraduate 103 and above students.
Tuition rates are applicable for both international students and permanent residents of the United States.
Scholarships
Pastors or Missionary Kid Scholarship
For students in level 103 and above, a scholarship is available to unmarried dependents of pastors or missionaries. This scholarship is limited to undergraduate students under 24 years of age. If you are eligible, you may request information with your application.
Spouse Scholarship
A spousal scholarship is available for the spouse if both the husband and wife are full-time ELSP students taking 100-102 level classes. The spouse receives a discount of 40% off of full tuition. In order to qualify for ELSP Scholarship, the recipient must be a 101-102 student who has been in the ELSP for at least one semester. This is a need-based scholarship.
Church-matching Scholarship
At least half-time undergraduate or graduate student with financial need receiving a church Scholarship. Biola will match up to $500 of church scholarship per year. (Will not match wages earned from a church or a giftfrom one donor in the church.)
ELSP Scholarship
The ELSP Scholarship is a need-based scholarship. In order to qualify, you must be a full-time 102 student who has been an ELSP student for at least two semesters. This scholarship is awarded based on availability of funds.
