Biola University's School of Professional Studies provides a variety of academic programs for students whose life circumstances require alternatives to the traditional educational delivery systems. Many of our programs are designed specifically for working adults, with courses available on weeknights and weekends.

We offer the following programs:

BOLD Degree Completion Program

Biola's BOLD adult degree programs are an innovative degree completion program for working adults who have completed at least two years of college and desire an accredited Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Organizational Leadership, or a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology. These programs are offered at seven locations throughout Southern California: Chino, Inglewood, La Mirada, San Bernardino, San Diego County, south Orange County, and Thousand Oaks.

Christian Apologetics

This program, designed to help students from all academic disciplines to contend for the faith, offers a Master of Arts Degree, a Certificate Program, and a variety of debates, lectures, and special events that are open to the public. All courses and events are scheduled for the convenience of working adults.

Science and Religion

The Master of Arts degree in Science and Religion is designed to provide individuals with the essential background in theology, history, and philosophy necessary to integrate evangelical Christianity with modern science.

Organizational Leadership

Our Master of Arts degree in Organizational Leadership has been carefully designed to equip Christian men and women to be effective leaders in 21st century organizations. This program for working adults focuses on:

  • biblical worldview
  • servant leadership model
  • intentional character development
  • training in leadership skills.
