Professor Strand's teaching areas are Corporate Finance and Strategic Management. He brings a wealth of knowledge to his teaching areas as he has over 25 years of commercial banking experience. Most recently, he was a consultant with Allied Banks, a 55-bank holding company in Texas.

As Dean of the Crowell School of Business, Dean Strand provides vision and administrative direction for the school. His passion is to prepare students with the skills to succeed in today's business world, and challenge these business leaders to lead from a biblical perspective in the companies of the future.
