Dr. Canning's primary teaching areas are business finance, global business and management. He is a CPA by training and was a partner in Ernst & Whinney (now Ernst & Young), one of the largest CPA firms in the world. Prior to joining the faculty of the Biola Crowell School of Business, he was Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of World Vision International, a global relief and development agency. He is the co-founder of the Christian Management Association and for several years served as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Southern California.
