About

Academic Advising at Biola operates on a faculty-based model. This means that your advisor is a faculty member in your major. To find out who your department academic advisor is, click here. The Advising Center advises all currently undeclared students as well as those on first-semester academic probation.

Please visit us at the Advising Center if you are:

  • Undeclared
  • On first-semester academic probation
  • Switching majors but are not sure which major to declare
  • A new transfer student to Biola with questions
  • A student who has already met with your department advisor but still has more questions
  • Wondering about the course selection process and which classes to take

To schedule an appointment with the Advising Center, call Smart Stop at x4576, e-mail academic.advising@biola.edu, or come to the front desk at Smart Stop located in Metzger Middle East.
